mujhe chāhtā koī aur hai mujhe māñgtā koī aur hai
mujhe note jab milā biis kā to samajh meñ ḳhud hī ye aa gayā
jahāñ do hazār kī baat thī vo mushā.era koī aur hai
tū ḳhulūs-e-dil se ye ahd kar ki rahegā saath tū umr bhar
na yahāñ mirā koī aur hai na yahāñ tirā koī aur hai
tū hai terah bachchoñ kī maañ to kyā abhī kuchh baḌhegā ye qāfila
ba-ḳhudā nashāt-e-umīd kā abhī marhala koī aur hai

tu hai terah bachchon ki man to kya abhi kuchh baDhega ye qafila
ba-KHuda nashat-e-umid ka abhi marhala koi aur hai
