diwangi mein gah hanse gah ro chuke
dīvāngī meñ gaah hañse gaah ro chuke
vahshat bahut thī tāqat-e-dil haa.e kho chuke
ifrāt-e-ishtiyāq meñ samjhe na apnā haal
dekhe haiñ soch kar ke to ab ham bhī ho chuke
kahtā hai 'mīr' sāñjh hī se aaj dard-e-dil
aisī kahānī garche niñdhī hai to so chuke
diwangi mein gah hanse gah ro chuke
