shām-e-tanhā yūñhī chup-chāp añdhere le kar
ghar ke andar hī chalī aa.ī hai
battiyāñ gul kiye ham baiThe rahe
shaam ko aur kuchh udaas kareñ
rañj aur ġham ko paas paas kareñ
sham-e-tanha yunhi chup-chap andhere le kar
ghar ke andar hi chali aai hai
battiyan gul kiye hum baiThe rahe
sham ko aur kuchh udas karen
ranj aur gham ko pas pas karen
