زاہد خشک ہوں دنیا میں نہ پوچھو مجھ کو
دیکھنا ہو تو کسی پگ پہ کسی پیڑ کے نیچے جس کی
ایک بھی شاخ نہ پتوں سے ہری ہو دیکھو
یا کسی ناؤ میں جو
پار جاتی ہوئی روحوں سے بھری ہو دیکھو
پار جانا ہے مجھے
بہتے پانی سے ادھر دور جہاں
ایک وادی ہے جو ویران بھی خاموش بھی ہے
ایک دیوی نے وہاں گھاس اگا رکھی ہے
