غم کا جب کوئی منظر
ہاں بہ فیض بینائی
روح سے گزرتا ہے
دل تلک پہنچتا ہے
تب کہیں پہنچتی ہے
آنکھ تک نمی دل کی
جن کی خشک آنکھوں کو
یہ نمی نہیں حاصل
ان کے پاس سب کچھ ہے
پر مجھے یقیں ہے عدیلؔ
ہے مگر کمی دل کی
