اے ازل سے تا ابد صاحب فروغ
اے جمال بے حجاب
اون کہرے سے
دھوپ سے زر بفت
اور ریشم چاندنی سے
بارہا لینے کو میں نے لے لیا
لفظ سر رنگوں کا پیراہن مگر
پھر بھی نہ مجھ سے سل سکا
تو تعین کی حدوں میں کیوں نہ مجھ کو مل سکا
