tez be-tartīb dhaḌkan aur nafs phūlā huā
zard chehra aur pasīne se badan bhīgā huā
jism ke har añg meñ jaise chubhe huuñ ḳhaar se
jis tarah a.asāb meñ har-dam ravāñ hoñ bijliyāñ
lamha lamha be-qarārī be-yaqīnī vasvase
ai mirī jaañ jab nahīñ hotī tū mere sāmne
tū musalsal aisī kaifiyat hī meñ rahtā huuñ maiñ
