zamāna saath chalā hai to saath ġham bhī chale
hayāt-o-maut ke rishta meñ ek aur girah
ufuq ke paas syāhī kī sarhadoñ se duur
shafaq kī god meñ kirnoñ kī saañs TuuT ga.ī
thake thake se musāfir udhār kī pūñjī
jo kā.enāt ke virse kī ik ḳhayānat hai
chale haiñ le ke kisī shāhrāh kī jānib
