ḳhāmoshī kā Derā thā

dard kā baserā thā

duur jab saverā thā
aise sard mausam meñ
raat ke jhamele meñ
kho ga.e akele meñ
do diloñ ko milnā thā
jhiil bhī akelī thī
chāñd bhī akelā thā
