تم نے کبھی دریا کنارے برگد دیکھا ہے
جس کی شاخیں مسلسل دریا کا چہرہ
سہلاتی ہیں
اور
دریا انہیں بھگوتا ہے
بھیگنے سے خوبصورتی بڑھتی ہے
جس طرح رونے سے چہرے کی
کیا تمہیں یاد ہے
پچھلے جنم میں
تم دریا اور میں برگد تھا
