سایۂ خوف میں ڈوبی ہوئی
سانسوں کے چراغوں کی لویں ٹوٹ گئیں
بجھ گئے شمس و قمر
ہو گئے یخ بستہ نجوم
تیرگی حد نظر
دور تلک سناٹا
کوئی آہٹ نہ صدا ہے کوئی
جانے کب رات کا جادو ٹوٹے
اور نگاہوں پہ جمی برف گھلے
