ہند ماتا کی ایک بیٹی
نام تھا جس کا لکشمی بائی
روپ میں زن کے وہ تھی اک شمشیر
برق کی طرح کوندی لہرائی
اس نے دشمن پہ آگ برسائی
زندگی کر دی اپنی نذر وطن
شعلۂ انقلاب تھی گویا
گرمیٔ آفتاب تھی گویا
نزہت ماہتاب تھی گویا
آپ اپنا جواب تھی گویا
