baras guzre tumheñ so.e hue
uTh jaao suntī ho ab uTh jaao
maiñ aayā huuñ
maiñ andāze se samjhā huuñ
yahāñ soī huī ho tum
yahāñ rū-e-zamīñ ke is maqām-e-āsmānī-tar kī had meñ
bād-hā-e-tund ne
mere liye bas ek andāza hī chhoḌā hai!

main aaya hun
main andaze se samjha hun
yahan soi hui ho tum
yahan ru-e-zamin ke is maqam-e-asmani-tar ki had mein
baad-ha-e-tund ne
