میں ان نظموں کو جب
تخیل کے خزانوں سے
ورق پر منتقل کرنے کی کوشش کر رہا تھا تب
فقط کاغذ تھا
میری ذات تھی اور یہ قلم داں تھا
مگر جب لکھنے بیٹھا تو
سبھی اک روپ میں ڈھل کر
مرے اندر سمٹ آئیں
