لکڑہارا کلہاڑی پھینک کر دریا میں
بیٹھا ہے کنارے
امید و آرزو کے بحر بے پایاں میں غلطاں ہے
تخیل میں حسیں خوابوں کی دنیا ہے
نگاہیں شاہد مستور کی جویا
کہ شاید
بہ حسن عارض و قد
نگاہ نرگس مست
جل پری کوئی نکل آئے
اور اس کے ہاتھ میں
چاندی کی کشتی ہو
اور اس کشتی میں سنہری کلہاڑی
