لخت جگر
محبت کو تم لاکھ پھینک آؤ گہرے کنویں میں
مگر ایک آواز پیچھا کرے گی
کبھی چاندنی رات کا گیت بن کر
کبھی گھپ اندھیرے کی پگلی ہنسی بن کے
پیچھا کرے گی
مگر ایک آواز پیچھا کرے گی
وہ آواز
نا خواستہ طفلک بے پدر
ایک دن
سولیوں کے سہارے
بنی نوع انساں کی ہادی بنی
پھر خدا بن گئی
کوئی ماں
کئی سال پہلے
زمانے کے ڈر سے
سر رہ گزر
اپنا لخت جگر چھوڑ آئی
وہ نا خواستہ طفلک بے پدر
ایک دن
سولیوں کے سہارے
بنی نوع انساں کا ہادی بنا
پھر خدا بن گیا
