اے طائر تمنا
اک دوسرے کی خاطر
کیسے رکے پڑے ہیں
تو بھی تری زباں بھی
میں بھی مرا قلم بھی
واماندگی کی لو میں
یہ کون سی زمیں ہے
جس کی نمو سے میری
سانسیں رکی ہوئی ہیں
یہ کون سا فلک ہے
جس کی تہوں میں شب کی
بے گانگی دھری ہے!
