ماں
مری ماں جب تلک تم تھیں
تو میری خواہشوں کے پھول
ہر دم مسکراتے تھے
غموں کی بارشوں میں بھی
وہ ہر دم لہلہاتے تھے
میں تم سے دور رہتا تھا بہت مجبور رہتا تھا
غموں سے چور ہوتا تھا
مگر دل کو تسلی تھی کہ یو ایس تم بھی آؤگی
دعاؤں کے جو گلدستے وہاں سے بھیجتی تھیں تم
وہ اپنے ساتھ لاؤ گی
تم آئیں تو مرے سوتے مقدر جاگ جائیں گے
