پہلے عادت ہوئی
آدھے لفظ کہنے کی
پھر سناٹے پھیلے جملوں میں
دھیرے دھیرے حرف مٹے مری ڈائری سے
اور ایک دن بھول گئی میں خود کو
آنکھ کی ریت کے ساحل پر
اس رات پھیل گیا سمندر
دور کے خشک جزیروں پر
