ghar thā yā koī aur jagah jahāñ maiñ ne raat guzārī thī
yaad nahīñ ye huā bhī thā yā vahm hī kī ayyārī thī
ek anaar kā peḌ baaġh meñ aur ghaTā matvārī thī
ās-pās kaale parbat kī chup kī dahshat taarī thī
darvāze par jaane kis kī maddham dastak jaarī thī
