آج مانا
درد دل بے حد بڑا ہے
رات کو شکوہ ہے دن سے
صبح کا غم بھی سوا ہے
تم مگر اتنا تو سوچو
زندگی کب
ایک جیسے راستے پر
چل سکی ہے جو چلے گی
آب دیدہ منظروں سے
قہقہے بھی پھوٹتے ہیں
اور زمیں کو
جھک کے اونچے
آسماں بھی چومتے ہیں
اک ذرا رک کر تو دیکھو
حوصلہ کر کے تو دیکھو
کس قدر کیچڑ میں رہ کر
مسکراتا ہے کنول
