نظم
میں نے اک انجان نگر میں
ایک مکاں پر دستک دی ہے
مجھ کو یہ آشا تھی کوئی فرشتہ سیرت
اپنی بصیرت اپنے نور دل سے میرا رہبر ہوگا
لیکن اب میں دیکھ رہا ہوں
سناٹے کا بھوت کھڑا ہے
بے حس وحشت کا اک پیکر
زہر آمیز ہنسی ہنستا ہے
