peḌoñ kī safoñ meñ tezī se ghus jaatī thī
bikhre hue patte os meñ tar
chhantī huī kirnoñ kā sonā
chup-chāp fazāoñ kī ḳhushbū
nāgāh kisī taa.ir ke paroñ kī ghabrāhaT
ham aa ga.e in maidānoñ meñ
phaile hue maidāñ aur ufuq kī pahnā.ī
ab aao yahāñ se ghar loTeñ
