ستارے
یہ ہماری قسمت کے
جتنے بھی ستارے ہیں
قدرت الٰہی نے
بے مراد رستوں پر باندھ کر اتارے ہیں
جن کی اپنی منزل ہی بے نشان رستے ہوں
روشنی جو غیروں سے مستعار لیتے ہوں
کیسے میں یقیں کر لوں
میری منزلوں کے وہ
معتبر اشارے ہیں
یہ ہماری قسمت کے
جتنے بھی ستارے ہیں
صرف استعارے ہیں
