لمحہ لمحہ موم پگھلتا ہے
کھارا پانی کوئی نہیں پیتا
کتنے جگنو
سرد ہوا کے اک جھونکے سے
بجھ جاتے ہیں
چلمن سے باہر جھانکنے والے آنسو کی
کیا قیمت ہے
سورج کی آنکھ نہیں روتی
دل جلتا ہے
