ab hai aġhyār ke hāthoñ meñ mudāvā merā
dast-e-āġhyār meñ har jurm kamāñ ho jaa.e
tīr-e-dushnām mirī samt ravāñ ho jaa.e
zaḳhm māthe pe lage gar to koī fikr nahīñ
shikva-e-dost kisī taur bayāñ ho jaa.e
mire shaffāf libāde pe syāhī mal do
mujhe gumnāmī kī daldal se bachā lo logo
mere na hone kā ehsās nahīñ hai us ko
tum sar-e-bazm mirā naam uchhālo logo
