ازل سے ہے یہ زندگی
فنا کے دشت میں رواں
نشان بے نشاں ہے یہ
کبھی یہاں کبھی وہاں
کبھی اذان صبح میں
کبھی جرس میں گونجتی
کبھی سکوت شب میں ہے
کبھی سفر خلاؤں میں
کبھی ہے گم فضاؤں میں
زمیں سے آسمان تک
مہہ و نجوم سے پرے
جہان نو کی جستجو
نقوش پائے زندگی کے کچھ نشان تو ملیں
طلسم ٹوٹتا نہیں
ہر ایک پل تحیرات کا جہاں
ازل ابد
سفر سفر
ہے لا زوال سلسلہ
