teri taswir kahti hai
tirī tasvīr kahtī hai
mujhe tum ġhaur se dekho
mirī āñkhoñ meñ jhāñko tum
mirī zulfoñ se uljho tum
taqāze ruuh ke apne
taqāze jism ke apne
karo puure ijāzat hai
magar tum ko ijāzat ye
faqat ḳhvāboñ kī had tak hai
