parsoñ ne kal ko paalā thā
parvān chaḌhāyā kal ne aaj
aur aaj kī kokh se fardā janm le rahā hai
jaise zamīn ne sūraj se zindagī paa.ī thī
aur chāñd ko zamīn se rizq pahuñch rahā hai
sūraj zamīn kā maazī aur chāñd us kā mustaqbil hai
jaise jamādāt se nabātāt se haivānāt ke ba.ad insān paidā ho gayā
to zindagī kā safar yahāñ pahuñch kar ruk jā.egā kyā
kyā nietzsche kā insān-e-bālā ''ba-qaul-e-zardshut'' ke aurāq hī meñ dafn ho kar rah jā.egā
kyā iqbāl kā shāhīn qasr-e-sultānī ke gumbad hī meñ baserā kar legā
kyā qur.ān ke mutābiq insān kā muntahā ḳhudā nahīñ
to kyā ham ḳhudā kī jānib mahv-e-safar haiñ
aur jab ham ḳhudā tak pahuñch jā.eñge to kyā zindagī kā safar ḳhatm ho jā.egā
aur kyā is maqām par vaqt tham jā.egā tārīḳh tamām ho jā.egī
yā vahāñ se ek aur jahān shurūa hogā
ek nayā aalam ek na.ī zindagī
ek nayā ḳhudā?
vaise agar ḳhudā hī ibtidā aur ḳhudā hī intihā hai
to kyā ibtidā aur intihā kī taḳhsīs be-ma.anī nahīñ
jaise jab dā.era mukammal ho jaa.e to us kī ibtidā aur intihā donoñ miT jaatī haiñ
to kyā haqīqat ek kāmil dā.era hai ibtidā aur intihā ke baġhair
agar aisā hai to harkat kahāñ se aa.ī
kahīñ ye dā.era phailtā aur sikuḌtā to nahīñ rahtā
kyā vaqt kā ruḳh maazī se haal se mustaqbil kī jānib hī rahtā hai
yā mustaqbil se haal se maazī kī taraf bhī ho saktā hai
kyā insān se haivānāt se nabātāt se jamādāt ko lauTnā bhī mumkin hai
aur kyā ab aisā hī to nahīñ ho rahā
zāhir hai insān par ḳhudā kā rañg to chaḌh nahīñ rahā
albatta haivānī sifāt ne zarūr ghar kar liyā hai is meñ
shahr-e-insān se shahr-e-ḳhudā kī jānib to ham jā nahīñ rahe
kahīñ ham qadam-ba-qadam jañgal kī taraf to nahīñ palaT rahe
kyā hamārī māzī-parastī hameñ
haivānāt se nabātāt se jamādāt tak to nahīñ le jā.egī
kyā ham pīchhe muḌ kar dekhne ke jurm meñ patthar ke ho kar to nahīñ rah jā.eñge
lekin kahte haiñ ki nā-umīd nahīñ honā chāhiye ki nā-umīdī kufr hai
āḳhir jamādāt se pahle bhī to kuchh maujūd hogā
bha.ī, ḳhudā to thā us vaqt bhī
aur agar ḳhudā hī hamārā muntahā hai
to aage baḌh kar na sahī
pīchhe muḌ kar sahī
ham use pā hī leñge
bas īmān mazbūt honā chāhiye
''fanā'' ''baqā'' aur ''laqā'' kī manzileñ zarūr ā.eñgī
ham pur-ummīd haiñ
parson ne kal ko pala tha
parwan chaDhaya kal ne aaj

suraj zamin ka mazi aur chand us ka mustaqbil hai
jaise jamadat se nabaatat se haiwanat ke baad insan paida ho gaya
to zindagi ka safar yahan pahunch kar ruk jaega kya
kya nietzsche ka insan-e-baala ba-qaul-e-zardshut ke auraq hi mein dafn ho kar rah jaega
kya iqbaal ka shahin qasr-e-sultani ke gumbad hi mein basera kar lega
kya quran ke mutabiq insan ka muntaha KHuda nahin
to kya hum KHuda ki jaanib mahw-e-safar hain
aur jab hum KHuda tak pahunch jaenge to kya zindagi ka safar KHatm ho jaega
aur kya is maqam par waqt tham jaega tariKH tamam ho jaegi
ya wahan se ek aur jahan shurua hoga
ek naya aalam ek nai zindagi
ek naya KHuda?
waise agar KHuda hi ibtida aur KHuda hi intiha hai
to kya ibtida aur intiha ki taKHsis be-mani nahin
jaise jab daera mukammal ho jae to us ki ibtida aur intiha donon miT jati hain
to kya haqiqat ek kaamil daera hai ibtida aur intiha ke baghair
agar aisa hai to harkat kahan se aai
kahin ye daera phailta aur sikuDta to nahin rahta
kya waqt ka ruKH mazi se haal se mustaqbil ki jaanib hi rahta hai
ya mustaqbil se haal se mazi ki taraf bhi ho sakta hai
kya insan se haiwanat se nabaatat se jamadat ko lauTna bhi mumkin hai
aur kya ab aisa hi to nahin ho raha
zahir hai insan par KHuda ka rang to chaDh nahin raha
albatta haiwani sifat ne zarur ghar kar liya hai is mein
shahr-e-insan se shahr-e-KHuda ki jaanib to hum ja nahin rahe
kahin hum qadam-ba-qadam jangal ki taraf to nahin palaT rahe
kya hamari mazi-parasti hamein
haiwanat se nabaatat se jamadat tak to nahin le jaegi
kya hum pichhe muD kar dekhne ke jurm mein patthar ke ho kar to nahin rah jaenge
lekin kahte hain ki na-umid nahin hona chahiye ki na-umidi kufr hai
aaKHir jamadat se pahle bhi to kuchh maujud hoga
bhai, KHuda to tha us waqt bhi
aur agar KHuda hi hamara muntaha hai
to aage baDh kar na sahi
pichhe muD kar sahi
hum use pa hi lenge
bas iman mazbut hona chahiye
fana baqa aur laqa ki manzilen zarur aaengi
hum pur-ummid hain
