waqt ke qadam
jin ke phere the khañDar meñ in havāoñ ne kahā
vaqt kī raftār kā anjām vīrānī hai kyoñ
is pe bolī gard haiñ is mas.ale ke ruḳh ka.ī
ik yahī pahlū bhalā vaj.h-e-pareshānī hai kyoñ
mere baare meñ bhī socho vaqt Thahre yā chale
qā.em-o-dā.em hamesha merī yaksānī hai kyoñ
