جھلسا دینے والی
دھوپ سے بچ کر
چھجے کے نیچے کرسی پر
پیروں کو پھیلائے
بیزاری سے
ایک بوڑھا
اخبار لیے بیٹھا ہے
آج کی تازہ خبروں کے عنواں سے
کل کی باسی خبریں پڑھتا ہے
اور کہتا ہے
اپنا وقت بہت اچھا تھا
