kabhi tumne kuchh to diya nahin kabhi humne kuchh to liya nahin

jahan se hota hai pyare KHuda ka nam shurua

kis tawaqqoa pe kya uTha rakhiye

jab se main KHud ko kho raha hun

subh-e-firaq al-aman wasl ki sham al-aman

kis ko malum hai kya hoga nazar se pahle

kis ka shoala jal raha hai shoalagi se mawara

na ghar hai koi na saman kuchh raha baqi
