sharik-e-haal-e-dil-e-be-qarar aaj bhi hai

kisi ke wada-e-farda par etibar to hai

mohabbat kya mohabbat ka sila kya

nigah-e-lutf kya kam ho gai hai

dil ko shaista-e-ehsas-e-tamanna na karen

mohabbat ka rag-o-pai mein meri ruh-e-rawan hona

wo kya gae payam-e-safar de gae mujhe
