KHushi ne mujhko Thukraya hai dard-o-gham ne pala hai

ab chhalakte hue saghar nahin dekhe jate

gham se mansub karun dard ka rishta de dun

tum jo aaoge to mausam dusra ho jaega

lai hai kis maqam pe ye zindagi mujhe

aaj jalti hui har shama bujha di jae

kaTi hai gham ki raat baDe ehtiram se

ek khiDki gali ki khuli raat bhar

KHushi ne mujhko Thukraya hai dard-o-gham ne pala hai

hamari aankh ne dekhe hain aise manzar bhi

roke se kahin hadsa-e-waqt ruka hai

mustahiq wo lazzat-e-gham ka nahin

fareb-e-nikhat-o-gulzar se bachao mujhe
