hain KHwab bhi aur KHwab ki tabiren bhi

ehsas mein be-tabi-e-jaan rakh di hai

KHud-saKHta afsane sunate rahiye

har subh ke chehre ko nikhaara kis ne

gulzar se kya dasht-o-daman se guzre

suraj pe jo thukoge to kya paoge

kis waste sahil pe khaDe ho shashdar

gum-karda-e-manzil hui aawaz-e-dara

jab tajraba ki dhup mein ehsas aaya
