wo be-hunar hun ki hai zindagi wabaal mujhe

aankh be-KHwab hui hai kaisi

sahra se bhi viran mera ghar hai ki nahin hai

ek sard jang hai ab mohabbaten kahan

hum bhi the gosha-gir ki gumnam the bahut

magar nahin tha faqat mir KHwar main bhi tha

sae ki tarah koi mere sath laga tha

kaisi aashuftagi-e-sar hai yahan

dil hai ki hamein phir se udhar le ke chala hai

bhule hue hain sab ki hai kar-e-jahan bahut
