waise to is ghar ko usne chahe kam KHush-haali di

faKHta shaKH se uDte hue ghabrai thi

tumhaare hijr ka sadqa utar phenkta hai

kisi aur ko main tere siwa nahin chahta

bhanwar se naw ke palDe bachane paDte hain

sarshaar bhi karti hai ghazal leti hai jaan bhi

rog maine bhi kai jaan ko lagae barson

hamari umron se raigani ko kha gai hai

ye izn-e-jast faqat ek bahana hota hai

hisar-e-gham se nikal apni zindagani bacha

fursat-e-hijr mein kuchh kar-e-tamasha hi sahi
