barsoñ se sapne yahī dekhe yahāñ avaam

ek chuTki bhar chandni ek chuTki bhar sham

barson se sapne yahi dekhe yahan awam

sukh dukh kī ik chāñdnī muskānoñ kī dhuul

din ghaDi mein bandhta nae sal ke phul

sukh dukh ki ek chandni muskanon ki dhul

aañsū bhīgī chhuTTiyāñ dhuup rahī hai bāñch

mahlon ki bara-dari ujle ujle kanch

aansu bhigi chhuTTiyan dhup rahi hai banch
