tha pahla safar uski rifaqat bhi nai thi

haal mein jine ki tadbir bhi ho sakti hai

nae mizaj ki tashkil karna chahte hain

jo tujhe paikar-e-sad-naz-o-ada kahte hain

koi ahd-e-wafa bhula hua hun

hai wahi ek mere siwa aur main

ye furqaton mein lamha-e-visal kaise aa gaya
