bosa liya jo chashm ka bimar ho gae

suna hai zaKHmi-e-tegh-e-nigah ka dam nikalta hai

aks mahbub ka aaya jo nazar pani mein

jaan mushkil mein hai pata to chale

ye mahw hue dekh ke be-saKHta-pan ko

kisi mahaz pe wo bolne nahin deta

sawab-e-ishq ki KHatir kamal kar baiThe

aks mahbub ka aaya jo nazar pani mein

wo ban-sanwar ke sar-e-sham jab nikalte hain

mazi-o-haal ki taswir se hum uljhe hain

kitab-e-zindagi ka har warq kahne ko sada hai

gum ho ke apni zat mein kya bolne lage

baadalon ke TukDon mein aasman ka nila-pan

wo ban-sanwar ke sar-e-sham jab nikalte hain

bad-nasib banjara us zamin ka basi hai
