niiñd to dard ke bistar pe bhī aa saktī hai
un kī āġhosh meñ sar ho ye zarūrī to nahīñ
E'en on a bed of pain, sleep well could come
In her arms,merely, recumbent, it need not be
nind to dard ke bistar pe bhi aa sakti hai
un ki aaghosh mein sar ho ye zaruri to nahin

sab pe saaqī kī nazar ho ye zarūrī to nahīñ

sab ki nazron mein ho saqi ye zaruri hai magar
sab pe saqi ki nazar ho ye zaruri to nahin
