ek shajar ki Tahniyon par chand rozana chaDhe

hosh mere uDa na jaen kahin

dhaDkanen rukne ka khaTka hai abhi

nahin malum kahan aur kidhar ijad kiya

yun kahkashan-e-mohabbat sajate rahte hain

jab sirhane se mere uTh ke wo chal deta hai

dil nahin hai aur tera gham KHub hai apni jagah

har zarra aaine ka tahayyur ka jal tha

basti se shairi ki birah kar ke aae hain
