dekh lo ham ko aaj jī bhar ke
koī aatā nahīñ hai phir mar ke
dekh lo hum ko aaj ji bhar ke
koi aata nahin hai phir mar ke
chaman meñ shab ko ghirā abr-e-nau-bahār rahā
huzūr aap kā kyā kyā na intizār rahā
chaman mein shab ko ghira abr-e-nau-bahaar raha
huzur aap ka kya kya na intizar raha
sābit ye kar rahā huuñ ki rahmat-shanās huuñ
har qism kā gunāh kiye jā rahā huuñ maiñ
sabit ye kar raha hun ki rahmat-shanas hun
