آسمانوں میں اڑا کرتے ہیں پھولے پھولے
ہلکے لوگوں کے بڑے کام ہوا کرتی ہے
سمجھتے ہی نہیں ہیں لوگ نا سمجھی کی مشکل کو
سہولت دیکھتے ہیں اور سمجھنا چھوڑ دیتے ہیں
کم معرکۂ زیست نہیں جنگ احد سے
اسباب جہاں مال غنیمت کی طرح ہے
اپنے جلنے کا ہمیشہ سے تماشائی ہوں
آگ یہ کس نے لگائی مجھے معلوم نہیں
آنکھوں میں اس کی میں نے آخر ملال دیکھا
کن کن بلندیوں پر اپنا زوال دیکھا
