kuchh aise do-jahan se rabta rakkha gaya hai

tumhein aansu bahane ko bhi mil jaen kai kandhe

wo bar-e-farz-e-takalluf mujhi ko Dhona paDa

sabaat dil tha magar be-qarar ho gaya tha

duniya-jahan ke jam chhalak jaen ret par

qarib aane laga wo to raat gahri hui
