uñgliyāñ ghis ga.iiñ yaañ hāthoñ ko malte malte

lekin afsos navishta na miTā qismat kā

ungliyan ghis gain yan hathon ko malte malte

lekin afsos nawishta na miTa qismat ka

sāġhar ko dekhtā ki maiñ shīsha sambhāltā

dil thamta ki chashm pe karta teri nigah

saghar ko dekhta ki main shisha sambhaalta
