'fānī' kī zindagī bhī kuchh zindagī thī yā-rab
maut aur zindagī meñ kuchh farq chāhiye thā
dam lene ki to mohlat milna hi chahiye thi
din-raat bahr-e-gham mein kya gharq chahiye tha
'fani' ki zindagi bhi kuchh zindagi thi ya-rab
maut aur zindagi mein kuchh farq chahiye tha
