kahne lagā ki lā-ilāj banda huuñ maiñ ḳhudā nahīñ
chehra tirā bhī zard hai aah laboñ pe sard hai
ye to miyāñ vo dard hai jis kī koī davā nahīñ
dekh mujhe tabib aaj puchha jo haalat-e-mizaj
kahne laga ki la-ilaj banda hun main KHuda nahin
chehra tera bhi zard hai aah labon pe sard hai
ye to miyan wo dard hai jis ki koi dawa nahin
