ghamon ka ek tufan dil ke andar shor karta hai
ġhamoñ kā ek tūfāñ dil ke andar shor kartā hai
magar ham to samundar kī tarah ḳhāmosh rahte haiñ
surāhī aur paimāne yahāñ kaafī nahīñ hote
ye vo bastī hai 'afzal' jis meñ dariyā-nosh rahte haiñ
ghamon ka ek tufan dil ke andar shor karta hai
magar hum to samundar ki tarah KHamosh rahte hain
surahi aur paimane yahan kafi nahin hote
ye wo basti hai 'afzal' jis mein dariya-nosh rahte hain
