jazba-e-shauq ki takmil nahin ho sakti
jazba-e-shauq kī takmīl nahīñ ho saktī
zindagī maut hai ehsās-e-masarrat ke baġhair
faqat a.asāb kī taskīn hai tauhīn-e-hayāt
sirf haivān hai insān mohabbat ke baġhair
jazba-e-shauq ki takmil nahin ho sakti
zindagi maut hai ehsas-e-masarrat ke baghair
faqat aasab ki taskin hai tauhin-e-hayat
sirf haiwan hai insan mohabbat ke baghair
